“The joy we feel has little to do with the circumstances of our lives and everything to do with the focus of our lives.”

The joy felt inside this family could not be dampened by anything- not the 100 degree weather, not the 80 percent humidity, and not the Indianapolis traffic. And I do believe it’s because of where they have chosen to place their focus. They focus on each other and what they’ve got going on is so contagious.

I loved working with this family- with all families- because I get to be part of & focus on their focus, their joy.

Not the best, first impression I’ve given judging by the sweat to cloth ratio of my shirt that night but I would do it all again if it meant I got to be with them & capture their moments. I can’t wait to see you all again!

I swear this song started to play in my head the minute he saw her for their "at first sight" shot. My heart melted & time seemed to stand still for just a minute. I'll let the lyrics do the explaining- of all I saw & felt that night with these two.

"Its not goodbye, its see you later."

This sweet family will be moving to Utah this month & I just can't believe how lucky we've been to have them as a part of the Fort Wayne family.

When we moved from our first, married home in Logan, Utah. My husband whispered in my ear as tears streamed down my face- "Yvette, this is just a house- four walls and a roof. Our love and the memories we make- that's what will make our next house a home."

We've moved 4 times since then and each time I realized again just how wise my sweetheart was in that moment.

And-- This family is about to find this out for themselves and I'm so excited for them. Utah- the red hills and your family there- are going to love having you closer! Good luck & see you later.
