I’m a bit of a {more like big time} binge watcher when it comes to the show The Wonder Years. Have you seen it?
Whenever I hear-- “What would you do if I sang out of tune…” I start to get all sorts of nostalgic.
Anyway the other night my main squeeze and I were watching an episode for date night and the moral at the end really stuck with me so I wanted to share it with this post.
Kevin said- “In a land of insecurity- where curly hair kids wanted straight hair, where heavy kids wanted to lose weight and skinny ones wanted to gain it, and everybody wanted to be someone else- the one true beauty was the girl who simply knew herself and was happy with what she knew.”
No one says it better than Kevin Arnold. And it is my wish for every girl in high school and every woman beyond that. It truly is! Embrace who you are because you are the only YOU that has ever been or will ever be. The world needs you just as you are.
