I’m sure I can speak for us all when I say that high school is not easy. Granted I was blessed with some really great friends to get me through it but it truly is a perfect storm of hormones, self-discovery and re-discovery :), comparison and competition, and well- I’ll let you fill in the rest of the blanks.
Now imagine adding the complexities of a pandemic on top of it. Its no wonder that our current circumstance is pumping out gems like this girl right here.
She is smart.
She is funny as heck.
She is an animal lover. (Yes- I'm talking about you, Jasper.)
And- she is stunning! Obviously…
She is exactly the bright future that our world needs and gives me just enough hope to keep my chin up and looking forward to what’s to come.
I have been choosing to focus on the good during this time & in all honesty, my time with her is now on that list. I cannot wait until the Spring when we get to be together again!
