Family Mini Session
Noblesville, Indiana
8/2020
In the final exchange between Wilbur and Charlotte in Charlotte’s Web she teaches him one last lesson. A lesson I can relate to and feel every time I step out from behind my camera and deliver a gallery.
{I have a six year that is obsessed with chapter books... drawing many of my lessons from children's books these days.}
Anyway- Charlotte says- “My webs were no miracle, Wilbur. I was only describing what I saw. The miracle is you.”
Lately- I’ve been rather overcome by how much I love what I do.
I get to explore the natural beauty of my city and state which I love.
I get to meet and work with amazing people which I love.
I get to learn constantly about how to do and be better which I love.
I get to receive feedback which I love.
{While being a wife and mother isn’t completely thank-less, it does not even compare to the praise and love I receive when my clients view their galleries. It’s pretty special. I’m not going to lie.}
I will gladly accept credit for doing what I do- finding the location and light, posing, my super-duper cool equipment, speedy turn around times, my enthusiasm for families, babies, seniors… That’s all me!
But- when it comes to the beauty that comes as a result of you and your family-- Your smiles. Your giggles. Your moments. That’s all you. I am only capturing it as it happens. And to me- that’s the true beauty and miracle of what I do! So- thank you! Thank you for finding me and trusting me with your moments because dang- they are so be-YOU-tiful!
